Dr. Sumit Patel is currently a PGY-3 Emergency Medicine physician in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a “writer, photographer, lifelong learner, and forever believer in the human spirit.” He also enjoys teaching interns and residents emergency medicine. He started a blog to discuss various hot-button topics in healthcare, as well as share his wisdom and insights of practicing medicine. One notable blog post Dr. Patel wrote about was the 10 Commandments of Intern Year:

Dr. Patel also uses Twitter to help share his healthcare thoughts, opinions, and insights. In describing who Dr. Patel is, he describes himself “as a dreamer”.
